Feel free to simply show up at the rehearsal, contact us through this webpage, or message us on Instagram to let us know that you are coming. Our Welcome Team will be there to greet you and guide you through how the training works.

On your first day, you can simply observe. You won't be expected to climb or hold weight if you don't want to. Whatever your comfort level is, we will respect it and find a role in which you can feel comfortable.

Yes! There are many positions in castells that do not involve heights at all and are still essential for the colla.

You don't need to bring anything special for the rehearsal! If you have an old shirt lying around, feel free to bring it, but no pressure, we've got you covered either way.

Like any physical activity, castells carry some risks, but they're safer than they might seem. Towers rarely fall, and when they do, the pinya (the base of the human tower) helps cushion the impact. At Xiquets of Copenhagen, we train our castells using a safety net, which is where we push ourselves hardest. When we perform, our technical team makes sure we only build the castells we're properly prepared for, ensuring no unnecessary risks are taken.
